With more than 20 years of publishing and public relations experience, I’m ready to help write, edit, or proof whatever you’re working on: brochures, newsletters, press releases, annual reports, websites, print or radio ads, magazine or newspaper articles.
I have extensive experience writing for the healthcare industry since much of my “real world” career was spent in hospital public relations. But I’ve also worked on projects for newspapers, magazines, childcare centers and more. Some of my client groups include:
- Medical centers: I’ve written and edited newsletters, magazine articles, press releases, annual reports and brochures for several medical centers, including Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA; Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC; and Coffee Regional Medical Center in Coffee County, GA.
- Health organizations: I’ve researched topics, written patient-oriented booklets, and proofread mass market books for the national office of the Arthritis Foundation. I also spent five years as a fulltime employee of the Arthritis Foundation’s national office, where I worked with national experts to write booklets about different forms of arthritis, medications, and treatment alternatives.
- Physician groups: I’ve researched and written brochures, ads, websites, press releases, and newsletters for individual physicians as well as group practices.
- Newspapers: I’ve written a variety of consumer-oriented articles for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and a local newspaper, The Rockdale Citizen.
- Marketing agencies: I partner with marketing agencies to write or edit copy or to proofread websites or publications on behalf of clients who want an extra bit of security before going to press.
My fees are based on an hourly or project-specific rate, depending on your needs. Check the download page to see some writing samples or contact me for more information on prices or to discuss your particular project.
